IN MEMORY OF AIMEE & LUCAS CARDOSO

Our final coffee walk & talk in person (had a few on the phone after this) May 2023.Grateful for many years of monthly 'coffee walk n' talks'.From a public art tour I led in partnership with Art Tooth in FW with the Modern crew. One of our post bike ride shots. We'd have journal time during some of the coffee meet-ups. Portrait of Aimee and Lucas at West Bend FW. Taken in 2019 Co-founder of Fort Worth's Art Tooth, Aimee is seen here on one of our collaborate public art rides. Introducing the group to local artist and Aimee's friend Katie Toon. Ever supportive, here's another murals bike tour years later. 2021Lucas and Willow. 2022. That was one lucky, lucky dog.2023 She'd take selfies and pretend they were from Willow (the dog), just saying hi.2023In Sept '22 Aimee got to lead a museum tour in France and visit all of my old work and life haunts. She'd text each day to share what they'd seen and pass on fabulous selfies. This was my favorite, and I loved hearing about her first experience in France for those 2 weeks.I asked her to go to my favorite place on earth: the Pont des Arts bridge. She did, here's the shotRighteous Foods brunch and art walk. June 2022On the day of their memorial service in Texas, I had my own memorial service in Bella Vista, AR.
